Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Great trails just off the parking lot for bird watching. Lots of breakfast options. We will stay again. Also an amazing massage studio just 4 minutes away.

Often the best value in town. Included breakfast is solid. Pool & hot tub large. Rooms & bed lovely. Front desk friendly. Mostly a notch above expectations (we’ve booked an Orillia hotel every month for the past 2 years, trying several others. This is often significantly less expensive than the Marriot, which is my other favourite.) I also like that it’s only two floors (we like both) & has decent views. However, note the AC was less accurate due to having the thermostat on the unit instead of on the other side of the room - set the temp a few degrees below our normal happy zone & we were good. Oh, btw, absolutely destroys on wifi speed & quality — maybe because it hasn’t had a conference with us yet. Another suggestion for improvement is to increase breakfast options that are peanut allergy friendly (eg. individual factory packaged foods with ingredients list & allergens listed on package) YMMV

Great first stay at this location. The room was nice & clean, spacious, and also very quiet. The hotel has had major upgrades and has a very comfortable feel in the lobby. There were renovations being done on the restaurant end, but I was still able to get the free hot breakfast which was pretty decent. The fitness room has everything you'd need, but the swimming pool is a good size, also theres a sauna. Every amenity you can think of. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. I booked multiple nights but different rooms, instead of having to check out & in again, the girl at the desk was able to put me on one room. That was very helpful and much appreciated. This place sits right on Memorial Avenue, a main street, and right next to Highway 12. Location can't get much better.

We had a great stay! Great value. Rooms were nice and my granddaughter loved the large pool being all one shallow level. Terri at reservations/front desk was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was very good . Restaurants within walking distance and downtown Orillia and Waterfront just 5 min. drive. (Agree with previous comment about not letting the outside fool you. ) Would recommend this hotel and hope to stay again.

It's an older hotel but well kept. Rooms are large and clean. Bed was comfy. 11pm no noise policy is nice.

Shanea , was very nice and welcoming. She was friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Her positive attitude really made a great first impression. Highly appreciated!

We've stayed here a few times along with other hotels in the area. What made me switch from picking best rate was Shianne at the front desk. I had a family emergency that I needed help with late at night. She did the right thing instantly and without thought. This person is going places and deserves recognition for making the right call, not for recognition, but because it was the right thing to do to help a customer. Rooms were good, location was good, this person's willingness to resolve an unexpected problem for a random customer really showed her character. I expect great things from her and this franchise would be wise to mentor her on her journey.

Our room felt very cozy. Even had a fire place that heated up the room very well. The pool area is dated, pool is very shallow. Hot tub was a gem. Overall the place is a bit dated. However it is what it is , and its not a dive. So we enjoyed our stay
